प्रधानमंत्री मातृ वंदना योजना क्या  है ?   गर्भवती और स्तनपान कराने वाली महिलाओं के कल्याण के लिए प्रधानमंत्री मातृ वंदना योजना चलायी गयी है। पहले इस योजना को मातृत्व सहयोग योजना कहा जाता था। इस योजना को 2010 में इंदिरा गांधी मातृ सहयोग योजना (IGMSY) के रूप में शुरू किया गया था। 2014 में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व वाली भाजपा सरकार ने इसका नाम बदलकर मातृ सहज योजना किया और बाद में1 जनवरी 2017 में इसे प्रधानमंत्री मातृ वंदना योजना (पीएमएमवीवाई) के नाम से पूरे देश में लागू कर दिया गया। इस योजना को महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा संचालित किया जाता है। यह योजना देश के विभिन्न राज्यों में भी लागू है। इस योजना के तहत महिलाओं को आर्थिक रूप से मजबूत करना होता है ताकि वह खुद के साथ-साथ अपने नवजात की भी देखभाल कर सकें। जानें कब-कब मिलता है पैसा? योजना के तहत पहली बार गर्भवती होने पर पोषण के लिए पांच हजार रूपये गर्भवती के खाते में दिए जाते हैं. इसकी पहली किश्त 1000 रूपये की गर्भधारण के 150 दिनों के अंदर गर्भवती महिला का पंजीकरण होने पर दिया जाता है, जबकि दूसरी किश्त 2000 रूपये 180 दिन
